Everyone wants to be happy. This is what we all have in common. Everything we do is all about experiencing being happy, being peaceful, being playful, being joyful, being loving. So why then, do we not choose to be?
I've come to see that we are always at choice although we believe that we are at the mercy of Life, not in control. Through my own Spiritual practice, I have realized that this is not true. I am wholly responsible for all that I experience and I have come to see that this is empowering, not upsetting. I can't do a thing about what anyone else does or thinks, but I am completely in control of how I see everyone and everything and how I respond. As Eleanor Roosevelt wisely said, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."
This is not easy but definately possible and it takes willingness. I don't always stay even keel but I've noticed that when I do, I experience miracles. I realize that I love to shift into a more peaceful and loving perspective. Who wants to be in reactive mode?
Cultivating a Spiritual practice is about finding equilibrium and also about tapping into wisdom and intuition for inspiration and creativity. It also means that the more people who choose a peaceful way of being, the more peaceful the world becomes. That's why we're here! So I hope you will join me on this path of culitvating more peace and more compassion in the world. I am here to help!
The True Meaning of Life
"We are visitors on this planet.
We are here for ninety
or one hundred years
at the very most.
During that period,
we must try to do something
good, useful,
with our lives.
If you contribute to other
people's happiness, you will
find the true goal,
the true meaning of life.
